Join me for an exquisite yoga retreat in Arcachon Bay, France, whose unique landscape will truly replenish your entire being. Initially, the towns around the bay were created to treat patients with respiratory issues; the subtle combination of water, air, sand, mud and pine trees create a unique ionized air that is nourishing for our body, mind and soul. This region offers a rare, elemental energy, a place where the Atlantic's power meets the basins serenity, inviting every soul to drop their anchors and simply be.
What to Expect
Located just forty minutes outside of Bordeaux, our home for the week, built in 1904, is nestled in sand dunes and pine trees, standing directly in front of the mirror like waters of the Bay with private access to the beach. You can expect daily yoga in the morning and early evening and delicious locally sourced meals prepared by our very own Michelin Star private chef. Our villa boasts a beautiful ecological swimming pool, where aquatic plants provide natural filtration, making it feel like you are swimming in a river. Each room has its own character, its own light, and its own atmosphere, offering a peaceful oasis for rest and rejuvenation. Together, we will travel to Bordeoux for an afternoon of culture and wine tasting. We will also take a small boat to visit L’Île aux Oiseaux (Bird Island), where oyster farmers open their huts to the public for tasting. You will have plenty of time to wander the neighboring towns like Cap Ferret and Ville D'Hiver and visit the largest sand dune in Europe, Dune Du Pilat. This very special and intimate retreat is sure to be a delight for the senses and the spirit.

6 nights, 7 days in a coastal Victorian style French Villa and guest house right on the beach in the village of Taussat, at the heart of the Arcachon Bay, France.

Morning and Evening Yoga classes in an enclosed pavilion (We may practice in the house in front of the cozy fireplace during the evenings or outdoors weather permitting). Mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets and straps will be provided.

Large Breakfast and gourmet dinner prepared by private Michelin Star chef. We will be served a variety of fresh locally sourced foods that include French cuisine and more.

​Group boat tour on a traditional Pinasse Boat to visit Bird Island (L’Île aux Oiseaux),where we will see the famous Oyster Shacks and Local landscapes. Lunch is included.

Group tour to Bordeaux to explore some of the city highlights and visit the famous Wine Museum,La Cite Du Vin (includes wine tasting).

Group Transport to and from Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport (BOD), on first and last day of the retreat.

Because each suite is unique, they are priced slightly differently. All are priced as doubles except one which can only be sold as a single. All rooms can be converted to single rooms. Six of the rooms are located in the main house and two rooms are located in the garden house.
